practice The Practice

practice The Practice

An amazing transformation is taking place in the world around us. It is impacting nearly every field of study, from science to spirituality. The human species is undergoing a profound shift in consciousness and is making an unprecedented evolutionary step forward. We are all a part of the shift, and, in fact, are integral to its successful manifestation. Our current physical/emotional experience no longer needs to be the determining factor in dictating how we think, feel, and interact with others and our environment. As enlightened masters have known for thousands of years, neuroscientists are beginning to prove and we intuitively feel; we are all connected in consciousness. The only thing that prevents us from experiencing this directly is the distraction created by our focus on internal dialog and emotional patterns that direct our attention away from the inherent peace that is the birthright of existence.

The Practice 8-Week Course

This 8-week course focuses on the scientific aspects of mind-body chemistry as well as concentration and meditation techniques. The course is divided into two main sections. The first four weeks of the course are devoted to perfecting posture and breathing techniques, overcoming “monkey mind”, and learning how the body naturally releases endorphins for healing and rejuvenation. The second half of the course focuses primarily on developing “objective observer awareness”, which teaches us that we are not at the mercy of our remembered emotional reactions to thoughts, memories, events, or circumstances. Instead, practitioners learn to be open to whatever arises with curiosity and compassion. We remember our true nature and come to embody our higher selves while in practice and throughout our daily lives..
